While we tend to think of Neve Tzedek as the first neighborhood outside the walls of Jaffa, it was actually the Yemenite Quarter! While the waves of Eastern European Jews who founded Tel Aviv were an important part of the story, they're only a part of it. This tour looks at a very different part of Tel Aviv, built by a different community in a different style and tries to understand who these Yemenites were, why they came, and how they contributed to the development of Israel and Tel Aviv. Oh, and their food is delicious!
